IHOPE for Africa Charity Secures Medical Equipment Donation for Medical Mission in 2026

CLIFTON, NJ — IHOPE for Africa, a non-profit dedicated to healthcare equity, proudly extends its deepest gratitude to two local students, Jack Niedzialek and Olivia Niedzialek, for their instrumental role in organizing a massive medical equipment drive. Their efforts have resulted in the donation of over 780,000 individually wrapped face masks, valued at more than $50,000 which will serve as a cornerstone for the upcoming October 2026 Medical Mission in Kenya.

78 Double Pallets of Masks

Jack and Olivia, both students at Clifton High School, spearheaded the initiative through a creative and modern approach to philanthropy. By scouring Facebook Marketplace and digital business hubs, the duo successfully bridged the gap between local commerce and global charity. Their persistence led to a partnership with Danny Lee, a Clifton-based wholesale entrepreneur, who generously donated the massive surplus of essential PPE.

The scale of the donation is staggering: 78 double-stacked pallets containing iFLY Smart Stay Healthy acrylic face mask dispensers and boxes of 100-count and 200-count individually wrapped masks. Beyond the digital coordination, Jack and Olivia were physically involved in the logistics, assisting with the gruelling task of loading the shipping containers and preparing the equipment for its international journey.

“The dedication shown by Jack and Olivia is nothing short of extraordinary,” said Amy Nanjala Pajnik, Vice President of IHOPE for Africa. “To see young people use their digital savvy to facilitate such a significant contribution is inspiring. This equipment is not just a donation; it is a vital resource that will protect

thousands of lives during our 2026 mission in Chuka, Kenya. On behalf of IHOPE, we thank them for their leadership and hands-on commitment.”

If there is a will – there is a way

This successful drive follows the momentum of IHOPE’s previous mission in October 2024. The newly secured masks will be distributed to clinics, schools, and families in Kenya, where access to high-quality, individually wrapped PPE remains a critical need for public health safety.

IHOPE for Africa also extends its thanks to Danny Lee for his corporate citizenship. The collaboration between a local business leader and motivated students serves as a powerful model for community-driven global impact.
